Office Updates

If you use Office 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003, it’s a good idea to go to the Office Updates on the Microsoft web site occasionally. The Download page has a product scanner somewhat like the Windows Update where it scans the Office products that are installed on your system and selects the ones that you need.
I was surprised that it did an update for my Microsoft Visio 2002 Standard package. I had bought that separately from my copy of Office XP.
While you’re at the website, poke around for more free stuff like new templates and graphics and articles on how to do stuff. There’s a wealth of information there and it’s easy to find.
To get there, go to http://office.microsoft.com/home. Under Home, select Downloads. There you’ll find Updates for the product scanner. u
