The meeting started with the usual Windows discussion.

Steve Singer from RDI, Inc. then presented his annual talk on what is new with computer hardware. It is something the members always look forward to, and Steve gave his usual knowledgeable and entertaining talk.

He started by passing around his personal digital assistant, which is also his cell phone, for attendees to view. He followed this by discussing the various types of memory, motherboards and processors that you can now purchase to either upgrade your existing computer or build a new one. He placed a couple of the motherboards on the central table and passed around two AMD processors so that we could have a closer look.
