Meeting Preview:

At the October 9th meeting, William LaMartin will present an overview of writing computer programs using Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Delphi and Microsoft Visual Basic .Net from within Visual Studio .Net.

This will not be a technical presentation, so you will not be inundated with an endless stream of code—just enough to give you a taste of what is happening behind the buttons of a program. The different programming languages will be compared and examples of the final products produced will be shown—some of which you might find useful and can download for free.

As usual, we will have our Windows/computer discussion for the first half hour of the meeting.

See the article on the Compaq warranty  for the story of the cracked Compaq. Did he do it, or did Compaq create its own crack?
