I was asked to work as a volunteer at the SiPix booth at the Photographic Marketing Association Conference in Orlando last weekend. It was very interesting, and I’m supposed to receive a free Pocket Printer for my efforts. The Pocket Printer prints from a Palm, Pocket PC, a laptop, or the desktop computer. It uses a wireless infrared connection for use with infrared devices, a serial cable or a USB connection. It does not use ribbons or cartridges; all you need is the special paper for the printer to print with thermal technology. It weighs 14 ounces and is powered by four AA batteries.

The SiPix Company is a Digital Imaging Appliance Company. Besides the A6 Pocket Printer, they have two portable photograph printers, the PocketColor 200 and the PocketColor 100. They also have digital cameras. For more information go to  http://www.sipix.com. u
