Edgar Duarte will discuss the relationship of your computer to the world…what is in your computer, hardware and software and how it interrelates to the Internet. He will discuss firewalls and how firewalls work and interact with those attempting to get into your system. He will interpret the blocked messages that your firewall reports to you. He will demonstrate zone alarm while connected to the Internet. He will discuss how users around the world come into your computer and use your home or office computer as a staging area for their own manipulative gains.

Edgar is a retired electronics engineer from the federal government. He has an interest in two companies that assist large companies in setting up and maintaining their systems.

As usual, we will have our Windows/computer discussion for the first half hour of the meeting. u
