I have been wondering about digital cameras and how they work, and I have seen them in the price range of $200.00 up to $900.00. But I said to myself, you have two good regular cameras, a Canon EXEE SLR and a new Olympus Accura XB700 ZOOM. So I have been holding off getting a digital camera till the price comes down.
When AOL offered a digital camera for $59.95, I said here is a way to find out what digital cameras are all about without the wife getting mad at me. I ordered it, and it came in five days.
I took some pictures around the house and at the ham radio station at the museum. On the front of the camera it says 320 x 240. What does this mean? If you make the pictures bigger than 2 inches by 3 inches, they start getting to look terrible. My son blew up a picture of him to an 8 by 10, and it was really bad looking.
My wife and I had a picture taken at EPCOT by a digital camera. It was a 5 by 8 that came out great. So the AOL DigiCam 320 x 240 is good if you want to send E-mail pictures and print pictures that are only 2 inches by 3 inches. If you want big pictures, you need to get the digital cameras that cost the big money. So you get what you pay for. u
